We had a great stay at Charingworth Manor! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Northern Cotswolds.
The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast options.

The hotel had a historic charm in a peaceful setting. the grounds were extensive and there was a large indoor swimming pool to enjoy. the staff at breakfast were lovely and made our mornings enjoyable.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel. It lacked the warm and inviting feel of a traditional country house.

We stayed for two nights in a suit. The room was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. As we were on the top floor we had a beautiful view from all windows. My eight year old son who came with us was delighted with the swimming pool and tennis court. The breakfast was of average standard. But they do serve breakfast until ten which meant that we were not rushing first thing in the morning. We did not have dinner at the hotel if you have chikdren you have to be seated in their resturant by six thirty; a little early for us. Lovely peaceful location close to a few really lovely villages. I would go back to this hotel.
We heard a few people complaining about noise from other guests walking up and down the stairs. Stairs are quite close to rooms so this could be a problem. I did not experience any noise as we were on the top floor. Very narrow corridors leading to rooms, could be difficult for people with mobility problems.

I recently stayed at Charingworth Manor for a surprise mother's day treat with my family. The stunning views and wonderful location made our stay even more enjoyable. Our Worcester Suite had plenty of space for our kids to run around, and they were welcomed just as warmly as we were. The heated indoor pool and board games in the lounge were a hit with the whole family. The staff were incredibly attentive and knew who we were without us having to announce ourselves. The food was absolutely incredible, and the dinner and breakfast package was well worth it. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The spa-facilities were good. The general ambiance of the hotel was relaxed with a feeling of genteel luxury.
The general quality of the food was 6/10. We ate 1 evening and 2 breakfasts. While 1 dish (scollops) was good, the meat was dry and overcooked. We ate out the second evening. The breakfast sausages were also on the dry side and a fried kipper looked and tasted as if it had been fried in a chip pan.
